- Suspected kidnappers have abducted a new bride and 10 others in Kaduna state - The bride was being conveyed to her husband’s house by her friends and relatives when the gunmen struck - Also, the incident was said to have occurred around 8pm on Saturday, March 31 A new bride who was being escorted to her husband's house has been reportedly kidnapped alongside 10 others at Birnin Gwari town in Kaduna state on Saturday, March 31. Premium Times reports that the bride, after the wedding, was being conveyed to her husband’s house by her friends and relatives when the gunmen stopped the vehicle and took them away. The incident which threw the community into confusion occurred around 8pm.
